There are few sonography schools in Ontario although the sonography is a growing practice in Canada. The Michener Institute and Mohawk College are the most popular ultrasound educational institution in Ontario.

These two schools offer superior sonography tech education and training. However enrolling in their program is not that easy. In fact, you may find it quite really difficult to be admitted in these schools. That’s because they have an enormous list of applicants waiting to be admitted and some have applied several years back. They also demand additional requirements.

In the Michener Institute, you should have a Bachelor of Science or a BA degree in Kinesiology or at least a diploma in any allied medical profession in order to become a sonography technician. So it is really useless to have a school which could not accommodate students needing ultrasound technology education.
